Our morning session runs from 8:45-11:45am.

Our afternoon session runs from 12:30-3:30pm.

Children in Nursery are 2, 3 and 4 years old.  Sparkles group are 2 and 3 year olds and Sunshine group are pre-school children (3 and 4 year olds).

Nursery Summer 1: People Who Help Us

This term, children will explore the topic People Who Help Us, building confidence and independence through play and hands-on learning. They will develop social skills by joining group activities, taking turns, and learning that it’s okay to make mistakes. We will encourage children to talk about feelings, solve problems, and use their imagination in creative play, storytelling, and building activities.

Children will explore numbers, shapes, patterns, and the world around them, including nature, different cultures, and a variety of jobs. They will develop early reading and writing skills, experiment with art, music, and movement, and grow their curiosity and independence.

We will enjoy stories and non-fiction texts about everyday heroes, including Busy Day Firefighter, A Superhero Like You, Doctorsaurus, Amazing Machines: Awesome Ambulances, I’m the Bin Lorry Driver, and When You’re Fast Asleep – Who Works at Night Time?, sparking imagination and discussion about the people who help us every day.
