PE

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please make sure your child has the correct PE kit in school on both days.

Water Bottles

Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school every day. Bottles should contain water only – no squash or juice, please.

Reading

Reading regularly at home makes a huge difference to your child’s progress, so please continue to enjoy books together as often as possible.

Reading records should be brought into school every day. Please listen to your child read regularly throughout the week and record this in their reading record.
Our Books in Terms 1 and 2

During Terms 1 and 2, we will be exploring two exciting books together: 

Term 1: How to Find Gold by Viviane Schwarz

Anna and Crocodile decide to set off on an exciting adventure to find gold. They must plan carefully, create a treasure map and work together as they journey in search of treasure. It is a wonderful story about friendship, imagination and adventure.

Term 2: The Adventures of Egg Box Dragon by Richard Adams

Emma creates a dragon from an old egg box, but soon discovers that her homemade dragon is rather special! Egg Box Dragon has an amazing talent for finding lost things, which eventually leads to a very important mission involving the Queen. It is a fun and imaginative story about creativity, helping others and adventure.
